I just placed my order at pyacht.com, as recommended by my friend Gordo, for a real honest-to-goodness boomkicker. I had an awkward, low-end boomkicker last season, and I never managed to get it adjusted to my satisfaction.
Aside from the joy of not having to flail around to hook and unhook the topping lift this season, the delight I will experience from this purchase includes (1) drilling holes in the boom, and (2) dancing. (Yeah... ummm... let's just leave it at that.)
